Mr. Gilmore earned his law degree at Boston University School of Law, one of the top law schools in the country. He obtained his undergraduate degree at Assumption College with a double major in Political Science and Philosophy. Mr. Gilmore’s previous legal experience includes the Cape and Islands District Attorney’s Office and the Committee for Public Counsel Services-Trial Division. He has also served as a Federal Investigator at the U.S. Department of Labor and an Attorney with the U.S. Social Security Administration, where he was formally trained as an investigator and adjudicated and developed claims and cases involving complex medical issues. He has over 14 years of investigative and trial experience, successfully representing clients charged with serious felony and misdemeanor criminal and motor vehicle offenses. In 2005, Mr. Gilmore attended the Massachusetts Municipal Police Training Council Police Academy, where he became thoroughly familiar with police investigative techniques and procedures, which allows him to carefully critique the government's case, resulting in numerous dismissals for his clients for improper police procedure. In addition to his criminal practice, Attorney Gilmore represents numerous clients in contested family law and personal injury matters throughout the Commonwealth.
